The 2025 season promises to be exceptionally interesting – both residents and guests can expect concerts, festivals, fairs, and family gatherings. Check out what awaits you in Mikołajki this summer!

Mikołajki Days 2025 – three days of music and family fun

One of the season's key events is Mikołajki Days, which will take place from July 4th to 6th, 2025. It will be three days filled with concerts, animations, and attractions for all generations. The celebrations will begin on Friday at the lakeside promenade – from local artists' concerts to wedding anniversaries, and in the evening at Freedom Square, Viki Gabor, known for winning Junior Eurovision, will perform.

On Saturday, the Mazurian Fish Festival "Rybkę na zdrowie" will take place at Freedom Square, where you can try local delicacies, participate in cooking workshops, and competitions. Saturday evening will feature the traditional launching of the King of Whitefish, a ship parade, and fireworks, with performances by artists including Wiktor Dyduła and Anna Karwan. Sunday will be dedicated to family attractions – from skimboarding tracks to a concert by Kasia Łaska, known for her musical roles and dubbing hits.

Music and culinary festivals – something for everyone

Summer in Mikołajki is also the time of themed festivals attracting lovers of various music genres and flavors. From August 1st to 3rd, the 47th Shanty Festival "Hey! I’ll Wake the Waves!" will be held – a three-day celebration of sailing music featuring well-known shanty performers and folk bands from Poland and abroad. This event has for years gathered sailing fans and those looking for good fun in the Sailing Village. Meanwhile, from July 18th to 20th, Freedom Square will transform into the arena of the Wine, Beer, and World Cuisine Festival. The program will include tastings, culinary workshops, a Summer Beer Run, lectures, and attractions for children – an ideal offer for food lovers and families with children.

Local fairs, festivals, and family events

Mikołajki also hosts smaller local initiatives that allow you to get to know the region and its residents better. Every Wednesday in July and August, the Dream Storage hosts fairs of handicrafts and local delicacies – homemade cheeses, breads, cold meats, artisanal chocolates, oils, ceramics, and jewelry are just some of the offerings. In July, August, and September, within the "Saturday in the Orchard" series, you can visit the Good Food Market in Karwik, where products from local farmers and producers dominate.

Don't forget the village festivals in Zełwągi (July 19th and August 16th), offering sports competitions, tournaments, games and activities for children, and delicious dishes prepared by the Rural Housewives' Association. August is also the time for municipal harvest festivals – thanksgiving celebrations for the crops, with artistic performances, entertainment, and regional delicacies.
